Festival

Running from March 21st to June 21st, this ‘festival with a difference’ takes the 450th anniversary of the Mechelen-Brussels archbishopric as its starting-point and transforms the city as if by magic into an imaginary, spiritual, utopian and mythical centre. An ambitious programme of exhibitions, music, films, street entertainment, walks and visual art in the public space will make Mechelen a visionary city and set the scene for contemplation of past, present and future.

For three months City visions will be whirling through Mechelen. The whole city serves as the lively set for a huge diversity of exhibitions, visual art projects, city walks, theatre, film, music, city tales, colourful parades and all kinds of festivities. You find the programme here.
